Maineiac was founded by Captain Charles Shriner III, a lifelong mariner whose journey began in the harbors of Kennebunkport, Maine. Growing up surrounded by salt air, rugged shorelines, and classic New England seafaring culture, Charles built his life on the water.

After years of captaining and selling yachts, his love for the ocean grew into something bigger, a brand that carries the spirit of Maine wherever it goes. Today, from his home base in Los Angeles, Charles continues to bring that same authenticity, grit, and coastal heritage into Maineiac.
